2022 – Finished in the Top 50 for the second consecutive year (No.40) and reached a career-high of No.13 on August 8; won her second career title and second consecutive title at Monterrey (d. Osorio); enjoyed success at Roland Garros where she reached the quarterfinals (l. Trevisan); suffered a foot injury that caused her to miss the entire grass season

2021 - Breakthrough year led to finish in the Top 50 for the first time and achieve singles career high ranking at No.24 on Nov 8, 2021; first WTA title at Monterrey (d. Golubic); made first career Slam final at U.S. Open (l. to Raducanu); reached 4r at Indian Wells (l. to Rogers). Notched three Top 10 wins, all at U.S. Open (d. No.3 Osaka, d. No.5 Svitolina, d. No.2 Sabalenka
