Three players hit the milestone of a WTA quarterfinal debut on Day 3 of the Copa Colsanitas: Elina Avanesyan, 19, defeated Lucrezia Stefanini; Olympic doubles bronze medallist Laura Pigossi bested Ekaterine Gorgodze; and Mirjam Bjorklund came through over Yuliana Lizarazo.
