Tallinn: Kanepi defeats Ostapenko in big-hitting all-Baltic battle
Kaia Kanepi took the honours in an all-Baltic first-round clash at the Tallinn Open, defeating No.5 seed Jelena Ostapenko in three sets to score her third Top 20 win of 2022. Kanepi required six set points to close out the second set from 5-0 up.
