Putintseva escapes Cocciaretto from 6-0, 4-0 and match point down
Qualifier Yulia Putintseva pulled off a remarkable comeback to defeat 2023 finalist Elisabetta Cocciaretto in the first round of the Hobart International. Putintseva trailed 6-0, 4-0 and then 5-3 in the third set; Cocciaretto held one match point serving at 5-2 in the second set.
