Olympic gold medallist Zheng Qinwen won her 12th straight match after the No.7 seed defeated qualifier Magdalena Frech in the second round of the Cincinnati Open. Zheng levelled their head-to-head at one win apiece after finishing off a context that had been paused overnight when she led 5-4 in the second set.
