Pauline Parmentier - Québec City 2018 - Tennis Canada/Pascal Ratthé

The Asian Swing kicked off in earnest last week at the Japan Women’s Open in Hiroshima, while the indoor carpets of the Coupe Banque Nationale in Quebec City gave players one last week in North America before heading to Asia.

There were no changes to the WTA’s Top 20 rankings after last week, there were plenty of changes for the rest of the field after a week of International-level action.

Check out the biggest ranking movers of the week:

Hsieh Su-Wei (+11, No.40 to No.29): Hsieh’s incredible week at the Japan Women’s Open in Hiroshima earned her a third career WTA title - and her first trophy since 2012. She also earned a place inside the Top 30, landing at No.29 - just seven spots off from her career-high ranking, reached in 2013.

Pauline Parmentier (+21, No.69 to No.48): Parmentier lifted her second title of the season at Quebec City with a straight sets win over Pegula in the final. As a result, she breaks back inside the Top 50 for the first time since 2008, landing one spot behind her countrywoman Kristina Mladenovic at No.48.

Jessica Pegula (+86, No.227 to No.141): 24-year-old Pegula continues to chip away at her ranking - after reaching the final at Quebec City, she claims the biggest ranking jump of the week to land inside the WTA Top 150.

Amanda Anisimova (+39, No.134 to No.95): Already the youngest player in the WTA’s Top 100, 17-year-old Anisimova is sitting at a career-high of World No.95 after reaching her first WTA final at Hiroshima.

Heather Watson (+15, No.107 to No.92): The former British No.1 reached her second semifinal of the year - and her first since Hobart in January - at the Coupe Banque Nationale, and it’s propelled her back into the Top 100.
