Kerber ready to snap streak against 'dangerous' Bencic

LONDON, UK - Angelique Kerber knows that she has a tough opponent in the fourth round of Wimbledon - she has played her three times before on tour and lost all three.
The German faces Belinda Bencic, who is on her way back from injury and starting to show some of the form that took her into the Top 10 two years ago. The pair have never met on grass before - but in their previous encounters, all on hard courts, the Swiss has triumphed, each time in straight sets.
"Yeah, she's a tough opponent. She has nothing to lose. She is always a dangerous, yeah, player. She likes to play on grass," said Kerber.
"She's playing really flat. She's serving good. It is always not easy to play against her.
"But I know what to expect. Like I said, we played a lot of matches. Now I will [be] looking forward to playing against her again - first time on grass."
But Bencic is still likely to prove a tough prospect even on a different surface. She too enjoys playing on grass, and made the Round of 16 in 's-Hertogenbosch before losing in three sets to Veronika Kudermetova. She is also a former junior champion at Wimbledon, winning the title in SW19 back in 2013.
"I always keep playing," said the 21-year-old after her second-round match against Alison Riske.
"You know, I complain, I'm frustrated, but I keep playing, keep fighting. I would say that's my biggest strength, mentality. It's my biggest weakness, but my biggest strength, too."
Kerber plays Bencic on Court No.1 on Manic Monday at Wimbledon.
