The Russian-born 20-year-old overcame sixth seed Viktorija Golubic during her impressive week before going down 6-2, 6-0 to Rebecca Peterson in the final.
Her conqueror in Nanchang, Swede Peterson, moved to within three places after her trophy success in China resulted in a 26-place jump.

Nao Hibino was another player to lift silverware, the home favorite taking the Hana-cupid Japan Women's Open. She rises 59 places to No.87 as a result of her 6-3, 6-2 victory, with beaten Misaki Doi also climbing to remain just in front of her compatriot, in 83rd place.
Karolina Pliskova, winner of the Zhengzhou Open final against Petra Martic 6-3, 6-2, remains second in the standings behind Ashleigh Barty. The Czech closes the gap to just 86 points behind the Australian as she became the second player to qualify for the 2019 Shiseido WTA Finals Shenzhen.
There was no movement in the Top 25 as a number of major names took time to recover from their travails at the US Open.

Garbiñe Muguruza (+1, No.27 to No.26): The 25-year-old Spaniard was the highest mover this week, rising a place despite not being active since her US Open defeat to Alison Riske.
Dayana Yastremska (+2, No.30 to No.28): The Ukrainian reaches a new career high, despite a week without playing.
Ajla Tomljanovic (+4, No.46 to No.42): Australian looked sharp in her run to the last four in Zhengzhou - where she lost to Karolina Pliskova - and moves to within three of her highest ranking.
Kristina Mladenovic (+5, No.49 to No.44): Moved up five spots after reaching the semifinals in Zhengzhou, where the Frenchwoman went down to Petra Martic.
Laura Siegemund (+5, No.84 to No.79): Run to the last eight in Hiroshima helped propel the German back into the Top 80.
Mihaela Buzarnescu (+24, No.125 to No.101): Romanian's passage to the last four in Hiroshima resulted in a massive jump to the brink of the Top 100.
