MATCH POINTS

Donna Vekic has won her only prior encounter with Tatjana Maria in straight sets, which came in the first round of Hobart in 2018. Vekic, the 2017 Nature Valley Open champion, has improved her tournament record to 11-2 after her three wins this week. Her 11 match-wins at the event is the most of any player who was in this year's field.
