MATCH POINTS
Venus Williams and Simona Halep have split their six meetings, but Halep has won the last three after Williams initially led their rivalry 3-0. They had a third-round match at this year's Australian Open, which Halep won 6-2, 6-3.

Petra Kvitova and Caroline Garcia have also split their six meetings. They have not played since a semifinal in Beijing at the end of 2017, which Garcia won en route to winning the title.
Yulia Putintseva won her first meeting with Karolina Pliskova at a Challenger event in France in 2012, but since then, Pliskova has won three matches in a row against the Kazakh, most recently a three-setter in Brisbane earlier this year.

Caroline Wozniacki has won all four of her matches against Hsieh Su-wei, but they have not played each other since 2015. Hsieh picked up her second career win over a World No.1 with her third-round victory over Naomi Osaka on Saturday.
Bianca Andreescu and Anett Kontaveit will face off for the first time. Andreescu extended her match-win streak to 10, after the 18-year-old beat Angelique Kerber for the second time in one week on Saturday, in a rematch of the Indian Wells final.
Ashleigh Barty has a 3-0 head-to-head record against Kiki Bertens, including a tight semifinal win in Sydney earlier this year. Barty can keep her hopes for a Top 10 debut alive with another win over Bertens.
