- First started playing tennis with her dad; also began playing as part of a skiing program, which offered tennis lessons during the summer
- A creative player who enjoys mixing in volleys and slice; favorite surface is clay, but is beginning to enjoy playing on hard courts more often; favorite tournament is the Australian Open; favorite memories are playing in big stadiums
