World No.928 Nastasja Schunk, 17, and unranked Julia Middendorf, 18 (pictured), started the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix as qualifying wildcards. Both teenagers upset the odds to reach the main draw, where they gave good accounts of themselves against Top 30 opponents.
