In a first-round battle of qualifiers at the Hamburg European Open, former World No.59 Alexandra Cadantu-Ignatik defeated Nao Hibino in three sets to claim her first WTA main-draw victory since Istanbul 2017 - coincidentally also over Hibino in three sets.
