Unseeded and ranked No.68, Camila Giorgi captured her fourth career title (and first since Montréal 2021) at the Mérida Open Akron. Giorgi scored the first 6-0, 6-0 victory at tour level of her career en route, over No.2 seed Sloane Stephens in the quarterfinals.
