No.105-ranked Tamara Korpatsch, 28, won her first Hologic WTA Tour title at the 2023 Transylvania Open, coming through her first three rounds in three-setters before defeating local wild card Elena-Gabriela Ruse in the final. Korpatsch had previously been 0-3 in tour-level semifinals.
