Ajla Tomljanovic came back from 4-1 down in the third set to outlast qualifier Tatiana Pieri 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 in the Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem second round. Tomljanovic has played this event four times and she has reached the quarterfinals or better on every occasion, including a final in 2018.
