Persistent rain Friday and Saturday pushed the semifinals and finals to Sunday's schedule.
Angelique Kerber lost to Marion Bartoli in a morning semifinal. Zheng Jie lost to Sam Stosur.
The doubles final saw Vania King and Slava Shvedova fall to Kimiko Date-Krumm and Zhang Shuai.
Kimiko Date-Krumm won her second WTA doubles title, her first coming in Tokyo back in 1995.
Needing to win Osaka to stay alive in the race to Istanbul, Marion Bartoli came out on fire.
From 3-2 up in the first set Sam Stosur couldn't hold Marion Bartoli back. She lost, 63 61.
Marion Bartoli collected her seventh WTA title, and second of the year following Eastbourne.
Marion Bartoli and Aga Radwanska will battle it out in Moscow for the last Istanbul berth.
