The 26-year-old will be playing her fourth career semifinal, and third of 2018 following Nanchang - where she lifted her maiden trophy - and Hiroshima last week.
Andrea Petkovic has reached her second semifinal of the year following Washington in July, and will be aiming for her 12th career final - and first since Antwerp 2015 - against Wang Qiang in their first meeting.
