Aryna Sabalenka has reached a new career-high of WTA World No.20 after claiming the Connecticut Open on Saturday.

The 20-year-old Belarusian defeated Carla Suárez Navarro, 6-1, 6-4, to claim her first Premier tier career title and jump into the Top 20 in time for the beginning of the US Open.

Having moved up nine spots last week, she has climbed 14 spots over the course of a fortnight.
