After her best career Grand Slam singles result at the age of 33, Barbora Strycova earned your votes for the WTA Breakthrough of the Month for June.
The veteran Czech player beat four seeds en route to the final four at Wimbledon, with her first-ever major semifinal coming at the site of her previous Grand Slam quarterfinal appearance.
Strycova defeated No.32 seed Lesia Tsurenko, Laura Siegemund, No.4 seed Kiki Bertens, No.21 seed Elise Mertens and No.19 seed Johanna Konta - with the loss of just one set - to reach the semifinals, where she was finally defeated by 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams.
