Led by former WTA doubles No.1 Rennae Stubbs and a mix of current and former ATP and WTA pros, including reigning Wimbledon men's doubles champions Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah, WTA coach Sascha Bajin, ATP coach David Macpherson, Nick Kyrgios, Juan Nacho Todero, Adam Lownsbrough, Piotr Sierzputowski, Stefanos Tsistpas, and Kathy Rinaldi - were all on hand to pay tribute to their friend before hometown favorite Lauren Davis took on Eugenie Bouchard on Stadium Court.

McNamara most recently coached Chinese No.1 Wang Qiang, who enjoyed a breakthrough fall swing, during which she reached the China Open semifinals and Hengqin Life WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai final.

The two split shortly after the 2019 Australian Open, as McNamara's illness progressed. Wang has since reached a career-high ranking of World No.14 after reaching the third round at Wimbledon for the first time.
