MATCH POINTS

Bernarda Pera and Karolina Muchova have played once before, at a clay-court ITF event in Italy in 2017, and Pera claimed that match in three sets.

Pera and Muchova are ranked World No.105 and No.106 respectively. Both are projected to enter the Top 100 on Monday following their respective runs in Prague. For Muchova, this will be her Top 100 debut.

This will be the first meeting between Barbora Strycova and Jil Teichmann. Teichmann, like Muchova, is into her first WTA semifinal this week.

Strycova is the only one of the four remaining players who has won a WTA singles title. She hoisted the trophies at Quebec City in 2011 and Linz in 2017.

Strycova has built a solid 10-4 win-loss record in Prague, making the semifinals for the second time after reaching the final four in 2017. The former World No.16 also posted back-to-back quarterfinal showings in 2015 and 2016.

Top seeds Nicole Melichar and Kveta Peschke will meet Anna Kalinskaya and Viktoria Kuzmova in the doubles final. Melichar and Peschke were runners-up at Wimbledon last year. Kalinskaya and Kuzmova's first doubles final came at St. Petersburg earlier this season.
