Qualifier Anna Kalinskaya scored her third Top 50 win of 2021 with an upset of No.28 seed Sara Sorribes Tormo in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open. The Russian led by a set and 4-1, but ultimately needed two hours and 47 minutes to win after Sorribes Tormo mounted a comeback.
