Jaqueline Cristian saved three set points in the second set before upsetting No.4 seed Veronika Kudermetova in the quarterfinals of the Upper Austria Ladies Linz. Cristian becomes the second lucky loser to reach a WTA semifinal in 2021, following Viktoriya Tomova in Belgrade.
