Portoroz: Bogdan upsets Haddad Maia for 1st Top 20 win since 2018
Warsaw finalist Ana Bogdan reached her second tour-level semifinal of 2022 at the WTA Zavarovalnica Sava Portoroz after upsetting No.2 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia in three sets - the Romanian's fourth career Top 20 win, and first since she defeated Kristina Mladenovic at the 2018 Australian Open.
