Hamburg: Rus halts Timofeeva run in three-set opener
No.7 seed Arantxa Rus defeated freshly-crowned Budapest champion Maria Timofeeva in the first round of the Hamburg European Open in three sets. Rus has now won 22 of her last 25 matches.
