Sara Sorribes Tormo claimed her second career Hologic WTA Tour title at Tennis In The Land 2023 following Guadalajara 2021, defeating three seeds en route. Sorribes Tormo had fallen to Clara Burel in qualifying, but became the sixth lucky loser ever -- and third in the past two months -- to win a WTA tournament.
