Pavlyuchenkova posts first win over Vondrousova in three encounters
Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova notched her first Top 10 win since Roland Garros 2021 (and 37th in total) after coming from 3-1 down in the first set to defeat No.6 seed Marketa Vondrousova in the Qatar TotalEnergies Open third round. Pavlyuchenkova had lost both of her previous meetings with Vondrousova in straight sets, both in 2021.
