Putintseva upsets Alexandrova for first Top 20 win of 2024
Yulia Putintseva came from 5-2 down in the first set, saving two set points, to upset No.15 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open. The result was Putintseva's first Top 20 win since beating Zheng Qinwen in the first round of Roland Garros 2023.
