Parry battles past Fernandez to reach Indian Wells third round
Diane Parry of France upset No.29 seed Leylah Fernandez of Canada 7-5, 5-7, 6-2 in the second round of the BNP Paribas Open on Saturday. In their first career meeting, Parry prevailed in a 2-hour and 57-minute marathon.
