Sakkari bests Linette in Madrid; posts first consecutive wins since July

Former No. 3 Maria Sakkari defeated No. 29 seed Magda Linette in straight sets in the Mutua Madrid Open second round, posting consecutive match wins for the first time since the Paris Olympic Games last July.
