Strasbourg roundup: Raducanu earns first win over Kasatkina in four tries
Emma Raducanu had never won a set off of Daria Kasatkina in their three prior meetings, but that all changed at the Internationaux de Strasbourg on Monday. Danielle Collins, Beatriz Haddad Maia and Marie Bouzkova were other first-round winners.

Playing Grand Slam qualifying for the first time in six years, Bianca Andreescu did not drop a game against Yao Xinxin to reach the second round of Roland Garros qualifying. Elsewhere, French wild cards Margaux Rouvroy and Carole Monnet pulled through marathon three-setters, while 2024 junior champion Tereza Valentova was also victorious.
