BOL, Croatia - Aleksandra Krunic won her first WTA title after her opponent Alexandra Cadantu retired injured during the second set of the Bol Open final.

24-year-old Krunic was already 6-3, 3-0 up before the Romanian accepted she would not be able to complete the match.

Krunic broke each of her 27-year-old opponent's first three service games, and broke again on her first set point to move into the lead.

"It's been my first semifinals, finals and now victory speech," the Serb told reporters afterwards.

"We all want to win regardless of the way [it happens]. I'm sorry that I cannot enjoy this moment."

Chung Chia-Jung and Renata Voracova won the doubles, beating Lina Gjorcheska and Aleksandrina Naydenova 6-4, 6-2.
