There's been a lot going on off court, including a Dubai Duty Free photo shoot with Ana Ivanovic.

And a Kids Day clinic with Darija Jurak and Katalin Marosi attraced an impressive 700 children.

Serena Williams was among the marquee WTA names to take part in All-Access Hour early in the week.

There have been autograph sessions too - former World No.1 Ivanovic is always a fan favorite.

Oriflame, the Official Cosmetics of the WTA, had a make-up session with some top doubles stars.

Kveta Peschke and American duo Raquel Kops-Jones and Abigail Spears were among their subjects.

Tuesday night was the player party, and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova was among those in attendance.

Yulia Putintseva, who had an electric win over Laura Robson on Monday night, was also at the party.

Ivanovic checked out the selection of dresses made available to the players at the player party.

As did Bethanie Mattek-Sands. Mattek-Sands is partnered up with Sania Mirza in the doubles event.

Every year there's a very special guest on the guest list at the player party in Dubai - a falcon.

Hsieh Su-Wei with the falcon. Hsieh faces No.7 seed Sam Stosur in the second round on Wednesday.

Alicja Rosolska with the falcon. Rosolska is playing with Oman's Fatma Al Nabhani in the doubles.

Agnieszka Radwanska got into the festivities, as did Serena Williams' hitting partner, Sascha.

Radwanska, the defending champion in Dubai, also took some time out for some henna body painting.
