Dominika Cibulkova and Casey Dellacqua paid a special visit to the children at the Ronald McDonald House in Brisbane with WTA Charities.

Australia’s own Casey Dellacqua took some time off from the Brisbane International to cheer up children at the Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland.

Dellacqua had the chance to meet one of the young families staying at the house with their sick five-month-old son and two-year-old daughter.

“I know the work Ronald McDonald House does, I have a couple of kids myself so I understand the benefit of the facility for families like this,” said Dellacqua, a mother of two.

The Ronald McDonald House charities provide a temporary home for pediatric families of hospitalized children from all over the world.

Later in the week, it was WTA Finals champ Dominika Cibulkova who visited the kids at the Ronald McDonald House with WTA Charities and answered dozens of their questions.

"They were really nice kids, asking good questions. It was nice to meet them and I'm happy I can do this kind of thing,” Cibulkova said afterwards.
After their meeting with Cibulkova, the Brisbane International gave the kids a special treat as they got to tour the facilities.
