World No.1 Angelique Kerber has had a busy week in Brisbane, which started out at Kids’ Day at the Brisbane International.
She was joined Garbiñe Muguruza and dozens of young Australians.
Kerber and Muguruza, along with ATP stars Grigor Dimitrov and Dominic Thiem, gave the kids a couple of pointers…
…although a few preferred to take a nap!
But in the end everyone had a great time at the Brisbane International Kids’ Day.
Later in the week, Kerber was out and about in Brisbane with Australia’s Seven Network.
They brought Kerber to the top of the Wheel of Brisbane as she took in the view from above.
She fielded their questions with grace despite being up almost 200 feet (60 meters) high.
Fearless on the court, the German proved she’s not afraid of heights either!
The World No.1 had time to take in a few more sights around town, including the iconic Brisbane sign on South Bank.
Kerber is hoping to take home her first title at the Brisbane International after finishing runner up last year.
