 In December 2016, Rinaldi was appointed as the captain of the United States Fed Cup team, succeeding Mary Joe Fernandez. In her first year as Fed Cup captain, the U.S. won the 2017 Fed Cup
 USTA Lead National Coach and Head of Team USA – works with U.S. players ranked Nos. 1-500
 Enjoyed a very successful 2018 campaign with Allie Kiick as the American was a finalist at two ITF events (Pelham, Denain), won the ITF title at Bastad and reached the quarterfinal stage of WTA Premier-level event in Washington, D.C.
