• Kuznetsova was also a finalist at three Premier Mandatory events while working with Martinez (Indian Wells, Miami, and Madrid)
• Coached Margarita Gasparyan to her second career WTA title at 2018 Tashkent - entered the tournament ranked No.299 in the world

Enjoys fishing, music, and sports. Married with two daughters. In 2013, Martinez opened his own tennis academy, CMC Competition. There are currently 9 professional tennis players training there.
