QUAD CITIES, IA & IL, USA – Madison Keys will return to her hometown to host her third annual FearlesslyGIRL event on November 16, 2018, which will be a pep rally for female students in the Quad Cities and online.

The American has been an ambassador for FearlesslyGIRL - an internationally recognized leadership organization for young women - since 2016. This is the third FearlesslyGIRL event that Keys is hosting in her hometown, following up on last year’s Anti-Bullying Assembly that reached 17,600 girls across 17 states and provinces.

‘‘The last two years of working with FearlesslyGIRL have been extremely rewarding, as I’ve been able to feel the positive impact that we have on young women’s empowerment and confidence building,” Keys said. “I couldn’t be more proud to belong to a movement dedicated to creating strong women.

“The annual FearlesslyGIRL event will be yet another unique opportunity for young women to come together, connect, inspire and help each other make the world a more positive place.”

The FearlesslyGIRL Pep Rally will encourage and inspire young women to improve the world, their lives, their schools and their communities by taking action.

The event will consist of empowering discussions, inspirational keynotes, team- building activities, live music, interactive activities and guest speakers. The FearlesslyGIRL Pep Rally is also supported by the Dove Self-Esteem Project and will feature makeup artist and self-esteem educator Dre Brown as keynote speaker.

Keys marked an end to her 2018 WTA season at the Hengqin Life WTA Elite Trophy Zhuhai after fighting her way into the semifinals with a round robin win over Daria Kasatkina and a three-set loss to Wang Qiang. But she was forced to retire today from her clash with Garbine Muguruza citing a left knee injury.
