LONDON, Great Britain - Third-seeded Czechs Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova will contest their second straight Grand Slam final at Wimbledon on Saturday, after the Czech pairing defeated Alicja Rosolska and Abigail Spears in Friday's semifinal, 7-5, 6-4.

The championship match will have an all-Czech flavor, as No.12 seeds Kveta Peschke and American Nicole Melichar were first into the final after a 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 win over No.6 seeds Gabriela Dabrowski and Xu Yi-fan.

Though Melichar competes for the United States, the 24-year-old Florida resident was born in Brno, the same hometown of the 22-year-old Krejcikova.

The French Open champions were the highest-seeded pairing to reach the final four in the doubles draw, after Rosolska and Spears took out top seeds Kristina Mladenovic and Timea Babos in the quarterfinals.

They played like it over the course of one hour and 36 minutes on No.1 Court, despite being pegged back even after opening up a 5-2 lead in the first set.

After seeing a set point slip by on their serve in the seventh game, the Czechs quickly pressed the reset button an engineered a third break of the opener, and made no mistake on their third attempt to seal a one-set lead.

The second set proved similar for the No.3 seeds, as they broke in the third game of the set, and held onto that lead all the way into their second major final as a pair.

A crucial, seven-deuce sixth game proved to be the difference-maker overall, as the French Open champions saved a total of six break points as they denied the Polish-American pair a chance to get back in the match.

The pair of 22-year-old Czechs will chase their second major together against the woman who has been the standard-bearer for doubles in their country over the course of her career.

The 43-year-old Peschke celebrated a birthday during this Wimbledon fortnight, as the veteran advanced to her first Grand Slam final since winning Wimbledon in 2011 with Katarina Srebotnik in Friday's first semifinal.

After seeing three break points pass by for what would've been a 6-3, 4-2 lead, Peschke and Melichar were stretched to a decider by the No.6 seeds, who won the last three games of the middle set.

Dabrowski and Xu rode their momentum into a break lead in the final set, as they came from 2-0 down to win the next three games and hold a lead at the change of ends.

However, the Canadian and Chinese duo were unable to build on what eventually became a 4-2 edge, as they lost the next three games, and stared down a 0-40 lead in the 10th game.

Though they battled to stave off elimination and hold serve, Peschke and Melichar proved too strong in the match's late stages, and saved a pair of game points for 6-6 before clinching the win on their first match point.

While Peschke will look to win her second Wimbledon crown, Melichar will play for her first career title above International level at a Grand Slam. The 24-year-old has won two WTA titles in her career, and has twice been runner-up at a WTA Premier event.
