On top of the world and your top vote-getter: by winning her first singles Grand Slam title and ascending to the World No.1 ranking, Ashleigh Barty the crown of June WTA Player of the Month.

It was a historic stretch for the 23-year-old Aussie, who ultimately saw the 15-match winning streak - much of which she put together in June - come to an end on Monday at Wimbledon, but her achievements in the last month cannot be diminished.

Barty dropped just one set to win her first Grand Slam title in Paris, and followed that up with five straight-sets victories to win the Nature Valley Classic in Birmhingham to ascend to the top spot in the rankings.
