Andreescu tells all on tennis, music and movies in Twitter Q&A

Canadian sensation Bianca Andreescu lifted the lid on her life on and off the court during a Twitter question and answer session, revealing everything from her favorite Grand Slam to her top music tracks and the movie she is most looking forward to seeing.

The 18-year-old has exploded up the WTA Ranking after a blistering start to 2019, climbing from WTA World No.107 to 23 in the space of four months, notably winning in Indian Wells to pick up a first Premier Mandatory title.

Despite this breakout tournament, in which she overcame Angelique Kerber in three tight sets in the final, she is aware that there is scope for improvement in her game, with the teenager targeting an improvement in her “physical” characteristics. 

Andreescu has reached the main draw of only two Grand Slam events in her young career to date but reaching the second round in the Australian Open earlier this year has clearly left her with a taste for more.

Like many players, she likes to relax with music before taking to the court and she picked out five tracks that she currently listens to in order to prepare for a match.

Away from the court, meanwhile, she was happy to reveal her TV series of choice, while she also outed herself as a big fan of Marvel’s Avengers.

Finally, she paid tribute to the fans that take their time to get in touch with her on social media and promised that she will continue doing her best to retain a close relationship with them.
