2019 - Regained championship form, capturing 27th career WTA doubles crown at Beijing (w/Kenin); advanced to final at Moscow the week after w/Flipkens; partnered w/fellow American Vandeweghe for semifinal finish at Cincinnati; produced a runner-up finish at Eastbourne w/Flipkens; advanced to the quarterfinals of Wimbledon w/Collins; successfully defended US Open mixed doubles crown by winning the title again with partner J.Murray.
2018 - Returned to tour following injury layoff; advanced to four quarterfinals at doubles events, including Madrid (w/L.Chan) and Wimbledon (w/Safarova); captured US Open mixed doubles crown alongside partner J.Murray.
