The American also captured the Gold Medal in doubles at the 2008 Beijing Olympics prior to sweeping the singles and doubles Gold Medals at the 2012 London Olympics
During his two-year stint as Victoria Azarenka’s hitting partner, the Belarusian captured three titles in 2016 (Brisbane, Miami and Indian Wells) and made three quarterfinal appearances at the Slams (2015 – Wimbledon, US Open; 2016 – Australian Open)
During his tenure with Caroline Wozniacki, the Dane won two titles (WTA Finals and Tokyo PPO), finished runner-up on six occasions (Doha, Dubai, Miami, Eastbourne, Bastad and Toronto) and advanced to the quarterfinals of Auckland, Sydney, Roland Garros and Indian Wells
In his first year as a head coach on tour, Bajin has helped Naomi Osaka climb from No.68 to start the season to a career-high of No.7 following her maiden Grand Slam singles title at 2018 US Open. Consequently, Osaka was the first Japanese player, male or female, to win a major singles title
Osaka became the lowest ranked player, youngest (since Wozniacki at 2010 Beijing) and the first Japanese woman to win a Premier Mandatory-level title at 2018 Indian Wells
• Under Bajin's tutelage, Osaka became just the 10th woman in history to win the US Open and Australian Open back-to-back and the first-ever Asian World No.1 (male or female) following her triumph at the 2019 AO
