MATCH FACTS
All six of the singles competitors on Tuesday are making their debuts at the WTA Elite Trophy.
This is the first meeting between Vandeweghe and Peng.
Goerges and Rybarikova have met once before - the Slovakian won 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.
Rybarikova is currently at a career-high ranking of No.22, while Goerges is at No.18, her highest position since January 2013.
Pavlyuchenkova and Kerber have met ten times before - and have won five matches each. The Russian has won the past two encounters, though.
