Stosur stuns Radwanska to reach Hong Kong quarterfinals

VICTORIA PARK, Hong Kong - Samantha Stosur recovered from a set down to eliminate fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska from the Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open, winning 3-6, 6-4, 6-0.
"I thought I was playing pretty well, and genuinely enjoying playing out here," said the Australian afterwards. "I felt like as the match went on I kept getting better and better."
She had to do it the hard way, though, dropping the first set to an impressive Radwanska, who turned defense into attack, winning the first break of the match. Though Stosur tried her hardest to hit back, the Pole's serve was seemingly impregnable.

Stosur came out battling at the start of the second set, but the No.4 seed continued to dominate, breaking in the third game to extend her lead.
But the Australian broke straight back, using a blistering forehand to great effect, and held her serve to edge in front.
And she leveled up in style, breaking Radwanska - whose first serve had crumbled - and forcing a decider.

Brimming with confidence, it was Stosur who got the first break of the third set, and proceeded to race to a 5-0 lead as Radwanska's serve fell away completely.
The World No.18 double-faulted to hand Stosur two match points, but could save only one of them as the Australian completed a rout of a decider to wrap up her place in the quarterfinals.
