The newly-launched WTA Charities is off to a roaring start as Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Simona Halep, Dominika Cibulkova and more top players took part in philanthropic activities across three tournaments.

Cibulkova & Dellacqua Cheer Up Sick Children In Brisbane

In Brisbane, WTA Charities partnered with the Ronald McDonald House South East Queensland and the Lady Cilento Children's Hospital to give sick children a chance to meet their tennis idols. WTA Finals champ Dominika Cibulkova and Australia's own Casey Dellacqua were on hand for the special visits.

Serena & Venus Take On A Rugby Sibling Duo For A Good Cause

In Auckland, tennis' most famous sister duo Serena Williams and Venus Williams faced off against a pair of rugby brothers, the All Blacks' Julian and Ardie Savea, in a charity tennis match. Joined by Caroline Wozniacki, the players raised $65,000 which would go toward the earthquake relief efforts of the people of Kaikoura.

Halep Shows Off Hidden Talents In Shenzhen

Simona Halep joined her doubles partner and good friend Monica Niculescu for a spot of watercolor painting in Shenzhen. They painted the city's iconic landmarks, with Niculescu tackling Shenzhen Universaide Sports Centre and Halep recreating the Shenzhen Government House. Later, Halep joined home favorite Zheng Saisai and Timea Babos during Champion Kids Day.

Kerber & Muguruza Headline Brisbane Kids Day

Ahead of the Brisbane International, the tournament's top seeds Angelique Kerber and Garbiñe Muguruza took time off to join dozens of young Australians at Kids Day. They hosted a tennis clinic, giving the kids pointers as well as showing off a few skills of their own.
