Kiki Bertens and Donna Vekic are the big movers in this week's Porsche Race to Shenzhen update, after the pair squared off in their first final of the year over the weekend at the St. Petersburg Ladies' Trophy.

Bertens made her debut at the 2018 edition of the WTA Finals in Singapore, making the final eight when Simona Halep was forced to withdraw due to injury, and made the most of her opportunity by reaching the semifinals.

On the back of her third career Premier-level title in St. Petersburg, the Dutch No.1 has strarted to get on track to head back to the elite eight: this week, she soars 13 places in the Race to sit at No.5.

Vekic, her conquered opponent in the final, nonetheless also reaps the benefits of reaching her biggest career final in the Race this week.

The Croatian No.1 defeated top seed and Australian Open runner-up Petra Kvitova on her way to the championship match, and moves up 18 spots to No.9 in this week's update. 

Elsewhere in the Race, Hua Hin champion Dayana Yastremska skyrockets to just outside the Top 10 after winning her second career title, moving up 24 places to No.11.
