In 2025, made Rabat QF, Madrid 3r (d. No.18 Ostapenko in 2r, first Top 20 win since 2021) and Montreal R16 (d. No.4 Pegula in 3r, first Top 10 win since 2020); played Wimbledon and US Open main draws (first Grand Slams since 2022 Australian Open); year-end ranking of No.208 is best since finishing 2021 ranked No.70
Played two tournaments in 2024, reaching QF at Cluj-Napoca (l. Cristian) and Austin (l. Schmiedlova via ret.)
Returned from maternity in November 2023, and reached two WTA 125 QFs at Andorra (l. Bassols Ribera) and Limoges (l. Jacquemot)

In 2018, claimed her third WTA Tour title in Bucharest (d. Martic in F) and finishing R-Up at Mallorca (l. Maria). Also made first WTA 1000 final at Beijing (l. Wozniacki in F), defeating No.6 Osaka in SF for her fourth Top 10 win of the season
Also in 2018, reached first Grand Slam SF at US Open, upsetting No.7 Svitolina and No.3 Stephens en route; across all Slams, the only other Latvian woman to reach a Grand Slam SF stage is Ostapenko (2017 Roland Garros title and 2018 Wimbledon SF)
Posted 43 Tour-level wins in 2018 (her highest previous number of wins in a single season was 37 in 2017) and she was the second of two singles alternates for 2018 WTA Finals in Singapore
Captured second WTA Tour singles title, and first in seven years, at 2017 Mallorca (d. Goerges in F)
