Made SF run at 2023 Lyon (l. Garcia). Advanced to R16 at Rome (l. Haddad Maia) for the first time at a WTA 1000 after notching first Top 5 win (over Garcia).

Also in 2023 reached the QF at Palermo (l. Sherif) and Nanchang (l. Bouzkova). Earned first Top 5 victory at 2023 Rome against Carolina Garcia.

In spring of 2022, made QF at Guadalajara 250 (l. Kalinskaya), R-Up run at Monterrey (l. Fernandez), and SF at Bogota (l. Pigossi) in title defense campaign

Biggest win of 2022 season came against No.19 Ekaterina Alexandrova in 1r at Guadalajara late in the season

Won maiden WTA title on home soil, at 2021 Bogotá (d. Zidansek in F); at No.180 was the lowest-ranked WTA title winner since No.299 Gasparyan triumphed at 2018 Tashkent

In 2021, also finished R-Up in final event at Tenerife (l. Li), reached SF at Charleston [250] and Belgrade, and battled through qualifying to reach 3r at Wimbledon

Made Top-100 debut on May 24, 2021, following run through qualifying to SF at Belgrade
